Come riding with Karel & Howard, and experience 2000 kilometres of the most incredible, exciting, challenging, and scenic motorcycle riding you'll ever have!
We’ve put together a brilliant ten day riding trip in Northern Thailand and it’s so much fun were going back next year and we’d like to share it with you. This is a ride for experienced riders, its not a sightseeing tour but rather a “damn good ride”!

Can we show you corners, followed by more corners and yes you guessed it - even more corners!

Our ride is on sealed roads, everything from smooth, grippy hot mix corners to the not so smooth and grippy! Its pretty much like in New Zealand, except better.

In Thailand they also ride on the left side of the road so that makes it really easy for us to ride safely there. There is no time to get bored here, we are climbing up and down roads that take us through magnificent limestone hills, steep mountains, lush green valleys, terraced ride paddies, beautiful waterfalls, manicured royal gardens and interesting villages.

The spectacular roads, together with stunning scenery makes for a truly memorable ride.

This is not a sight seeing tour, this is for serious riders only!

What will we see?

Our ride is a little off the beaten track, the roads are fantastic and you will not have to contend with much other traffic. (Maybe a water buffalo or two!) Its designed by Karel & Howard for riders who enjoy the twisties.

What are we riding?

Honda CB500X

This is the ideal bike for the trip. Perfect for the tight, windy and mountainous sections of the ride and enough power to have plenty of fun on the more flowing parts of the ride.

The bike comes with a top box big enough for everything you will need for the ride. Being a warm climate you don’t need to much clothing! June is the beginning of the rainy season so there may be a little sprinkle of rain now and again which can be very welcome!

A support vehicle with Thai Tour Guide is included in the ride.

WHERE ARE WE STAYING?

Beautiful resort style accommodation in some very interesting locations along the way.

The Thai people are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, you will enjoy that lovely dip in a pool and a nice cold beer at the end of each day.

Spend the night enjoying Thai or Western food and having a few laughs with us.

Feast on a fully cooked breakfast the next morning, the perfect way to fuel you up for the next day of riding.

Come for 9 nights / 10 days. This is a ride for serious road riders!

Give yourself some more time before or after the ride to enjoy the many other wonders Thailand can offer including the beautiful tropical islands in the south of Thailand. Dental work is also a great option in Chiang Mai.
